How to Get a Marriage License in Walhalla, South Carolina

1). Go to the Oconee County Probate Court at least 24 hours before the wedding. The court is located at 211 W. Main St., Walhalla, SC 29691. You must bring your fiancé or fiancee and a witness to the court..
2). Complete and submit the marriage application, which can be obtained at the office of the Probate Judge. You and your betrothed will have to show a valid photo identification to prove you are both at least 18 years old. If either of you are younger than 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present to sign a consent form. Your witness must sign the witness section of the application.
3). Pay $45 application fee. The Oconee County Probate Court accepts cash only.
4). Return the following business day to pick up your marriage license.
