Trying to find a diet that works and makes sense is almost as easy as finding a needle in a hay stack.
There is so much information out there, one thing says this, the other says that, and you find yourself somewhere inbewteen trying to just find out what is going to help you lose some weight! Today what I want to do is give you a check list to follow when choosing a diet so you can get the most out of it and really look and feel your best! Your Diet Checklist Here is your checklist to follow when choosing a diet: - The title gives a good description of what you are getting into - Should not be title something like "the grapefruit diet" - You should be able to learn - You should be able to create your meals around your diet.
Not the other way around - You should be able to follow your diet for 6 months - YOU SHOULD NOT STARVE - It should be fun! Ok, that is a lot of things but what I want to do is break that down and explain just a bit ok! Explaining Your Checklist The title should tell you about the diet, there really should be no mystery.
If there is the diet is crap and wont work! If you diet sounds something like, "The Grapefruit or Cookie Diet" think about how practical that is.
Can a human survive for 6 months on grapefruit alone? NO, same with cookies.
You diet shouldn't be a get fir quick scheme, it should be something that is going to teach you how to diet, and diet for life.
What I mean by that is, your diet needs to teach you how to prepare your own food/meals so you don't have to rely on "a cookie" or "grapefruit".
The Reason You Should Do Your Diet For 6 Months I wanted to explain this a lot better.
If you cannot stay on a diet for 6 months then you will lose some weight, then gain it back and start that awful yo-yo cycle.
If you are able to follow a diet for at least 6 months you are going to lose weight, feel better, and also not gain it all back! The purpose of a diet is to help you lose weight and keep it off! DON'T STARVE The reason you should never starve yourself is because you body will shit down, hold onto fat, and you will begin to develop health problems.
A diet should be quite the opposite, you should be eating enough to never feel starving! You should try and eat at least 4-5 small meals a day.
This will help you always have something in your belly and never feel hungry, yet speed up your metabolism to help you burn fat! GET THE BODY YOU DESERVE! I covered a lot just now, I hope you found it useful and I really hope you look at your diet as more of a tool to a great body than just a quick fix! You deserve a great body and I know you can do it.
It is going to be hard, but I guarantee you will love the outcome!
