    • 1). Open a new document in the selected computer program. This can usually be done by going to "File," then "New," or by pressing "Ctrl+N." If Microsoft Word is being used, skip to Step 4.

    • 2). Turn on a grid if working in graphics programs such as Photoshop or Illustrator. The grid visibility is usually found under the "View" menu under "Grid." The grid will act as a guide to ensure equal spacing of the lines.

    • 3). Use the Line tool to create lines across the document if a graphics program is being used. Use the grid to equally space the lines. Once five lines have been created, click and drag the mouse over the lines to select them, or press "Ctrl+A" to select all. Hit "Ctrl+C" to copy the five lines, then hit "Ctrl+V" to paste a new set of lines onto the page. Adjust the pasted lines, then repeat for the entire page.

    • 4). If using Microsoft Word, go to "View," then "Toolbars." Select "Standard" and "Formatting." Press the format button at the top of screen labeled "Justify" or hit "Ctrl+J." Hold down "Shift+-" to create an underscore line (_) across the entire page. Then, hit "Ctrl+A" to select the line, then "Ctrl+C" to copy it. Un-highlight the line and hit the "Enter" key. Hit "Ctrl+V" to paste the line underneath. Repeat this process until the entire page is filled. The spacing between lines can be adjusted by changing the font size.

    • 5). Print the page by going to "File," then "Print," or hit "Ctrl+P." Several copies of the page can be printed. For bulk amounts, print one page and use a photocopy machine to make several copies.
