You’ll stay at the Mike Wiegele Heli Village Resort in Blue River, British Columbia. The resort’s lodge has a fine dining room, good wine cellar, fitness center and bar where everyone hangs out and brags about the number of vertical feet they skied that day.
Guests stay in chalets. If you’re with a large group that wants a more private and more remote location, ask about staying at the Albreda Lodge.
Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing offers a variety of heli-ski packages, from the typical ski week to first-timer trips, women’s trips and family trips. Snowcat skiing at Saddle Mountain is also an option. The company has been in operation since 1907 and the guides are highly trained.
