Choosing Your Perfect Wedding Date

It's a common story - you've just gotten engaged, but you can't stop your mind from fast-forwarding to the dress, cake and wedding albums.
But before your wedding planning goes too far, slow down a bit and consider how you will choose the best date for tying the knot.
Where are you marrying?   If you have your heart set on a specific location to say your vows, remember that it may be booked far in advance.
First off, call your dream site - whether it is a church, museum, park or otherwise - to find out when it is available.
This may impact your wedding date.
What is your budget?   If you want to get married on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of June, you'll likely pay more than if you walk down the aisle on a Tuesday night in November.
Consider choosing off-seasons and less popular days of the week if you're hoping to bargain your way to a great deal.
When are family and friends available?   At the same time, remember that weekends and holidays may be the most convenient time for loved ones to travel to attend your nuptials.
If there are certain guests whose attendance you want to guarantee, ask them before organizing your big day - otherwise, they'll have to make do with the wedding albums.
What dates have a personal significance? Maybe you want to honor your Irish grandmother's memory by tying the knot on St Patrick's Day - or you think it would be romantic to get married exactly five years to the day after your first date.
If there is a particular date you would like to associate with your wedding photo albums for years to come, go ahead and schedule it
