How to Roll a Crescent
- 1). Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper. This will help keep the rolls from sticking to the pan while cooking, and cut down on clean up time.
- 2). Remove the can of crescent rolls from the fridge. If they're not kept in the fridge, the tube of rolls could burst open.
- 3). Open the can and unroll the sheet of dough. Cut the sheet in half and then cut both halves in half again, so you have four squares of dough.
- 4). Cut each of the four squares diagonally from one corner to the other corner. You will end up with eight triangles. Turn each triangle so the top points are facing away from you.
- 5). Select a triangle and loosely roll from the base towards the top point, making sure to tuck the tip under the roll. Take both ends of the rolled up triangle and gently bend them towards the middle of the roll, until both ends are facing each other.
- 6). Repeat step 5 with the rest of the dough triangles. Place each of the crescents on the cookie sheet and bake between 10 and 12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown. Let your crescents cool for two or three minutes before eating.
