The 1995 Ford Ranger is a second-generation model of Ford's best-selling line of small pickup trucks. This model year is characterized by its rounded edges and more aerodynamic appearance. Standard versions of the 1995 Ranger carry a traditional, smooth-lined bed while "Splash" models have a step-side bed. The Ranger's popularity across the United States continued with the 1995 model, and it was the best-selling small pickup in the country for that year. - On all models of the 1995 Ford Ranger, the truck bed measures 69.4 inches wide. Regular and super cab trims measure 6 feet in length and have a cargo capacity of 37 cubic feet. The long-bed offers an additional foot, measuring 7 feet in length, with cargo capacity of 44 cubic feet. Flare-side "Splash" models have the same dimensions as standard models and are not available with a long-bed option.
- The 1995 Ford Ranger pickup has a hinged tailgate with a latching handle that releases to lower and locks to secure. The tailgate is removable. All models have a rear step bumper; Splash models also have a step on each side of the bed just behind the cab. A sliding rear window between the cab and the bed comes standard on Splash models and is an option on all others.
- All regular cab models of the 1995 Ford Ranger have a maximum towing capacity of 6,000 pounds. Splash models have a base payload capacity of 1,050 pounds; standard and long-bed models have a payload capacity of 1,250 pounds. Super cab models can tow up to 5,900 pounds. Splash super cabs have a base payload capacity of 1,000 pounds while standard and long-bed super cabs both have a base payload capacity of 1,200 pounds.
