Cure Hemorrhoids - The #1 Cause Of Hemorrhoids You Never Read About

As an RN, nutritionist and natural therapist, I have been closely involved in the treatment of hemorrhoids and other stomach and colon-related complaints for over 25 years.

During that time I have identified one major cause of hemorrhoids which is never discussed - Procrastination.

Whether this stems from embarrassment, fear or some kind of faith that hemorrhoids will somehow miraculously cure themselves, I'm mot sure. Regardless of the wherefore, I know that most hemorrhoid sufferers wait way too long before taking action to treat their problem.

In my experience, at least 85% of hemorrhoid sufferers wait more than 10 years before seeking professional treatment. It no longer surprises me when I hear someone say they have been suffering for 20 or even 30 years.

This is absolutely unnecessary. What keeps people suffering in silence with hemorrhoids for so long?

1. Embarrassment

I understand and empathize with this. It's true that this is not a dignified complaint. But there is very little that doctors and other health care professionals have not seen or heard - you will not be the first (or the last) person to walk into their office and tell them you need to cure hemorrhoids.

2. Fear

Because hemorrhoid symptoms often include rectal bleeding and pain, there is often the fear that something more sinister, such as colon cancer, could be the culprit.

While this is unlikely, it is absolutely imperative that you have this possibility medically excluded. This will not only give you immense peace of mind, it will allow you to seek appropriate treatments for your condition.

So, assuming a correct diagnosis has been obtained, why is there still so much procrastination?

On a daily basis, I receive email questions from people all over the world - from Sydney, London and California, to Dubai, Nova Scotia and everywhere in between.

One of the most common queries starts like this:

" Hi Janet, I've had hemorrhoids for more than 10 years now. They're getting worse each year. I think my only option is surgery, but I really, really don't want to do that. I'd like to try natural treatments first, but what if they don't work?"

My simple reply is this: If they don't work (which I know from my experience is highly unlikely), you will be in exactly the same position as you are now. You have managed with your hemorrhoid pain for 10 years - isn't it worthwhile to wait a little longer and try the alternatives?

Some of these sufferers write me back and say: "Yes, you're right - nothing to lose - get me started."

But some continue to correspond with me for weeks or even months, needing reassurance that it is worth their effort to try alternative hemorrhoid cures.

On the one hand, I understand the hesitation. There are many myths and inaccuracies on the internet about hemorrhoid treatments (you can read about them in my other ezine articles).

I always tell those who contact me seeking advice that I only recommend proven hemorrhoid cures and treatments - those which have been the subject of well-conducted clinical studies. I recommend these because I know they work - they have helped thousands of my patients over the years.

On the other hand, there comes a time for action and taking responsibility for your health.

Some people procrastinate for many weeks after contacting me before finally deciding to do something about their hemorrhoids.

After so much indecision from them, I often end up saying: "If you had started my treatment suggestions when you first contacted me, you could now be free of your hemorrhoids. What are you waiting for?"

If you have hemorrhoids and you genuinely want to be free of this debilitating complaint, without the risks of surgery, you must be prepared to take some action - to actually do something to help your body fight back. Your hemorrhoids are not going to go away by themselves - and the longer you have had them, the longer it may take to get rid of them.

However, I have rarely seen a case of hemorrhoids - even the most severe and stubborn - which have not responded to the scientifically evaluated natural hemorrhoid treatments.

From my experience in treating so many related disorders - from stomach aches and gastritis to ulcers, reflux and hemorrhoids - I know that procrastination is very often the only thing standing between you and good health.

My best advice to cure hemorrhoids naturally and permanently: Take Action.
