Joint Venture Affiliate - How to Be Successful
How can you do so without any of the resources mentioned above? Nowadays people search for companies that are looking for people who do freelance work, be it web designing, graphic designing, copy editing, etc.
and get paid for services rendered.
This requires a lot of hard work and one's income would be limited to the jobs completed in a given time frame.
So what is the solution? US Marketing legends have taught for years the power of becoming a Joint Venture Broker - where you find a company wanting to sell more of their product, find a company that has the capabilities of selling more of that product, and then you broker a deal between them and get commission for total sales.
For the internet generation, this means finding a website with an affiliate programme where a site owner will pay an affiliate a certain commission percentage for sending visitors to their website to buy something.
Commissions range from a few percent to 50% or more.
There are websites with a two tier affiliate programme where you sign up as an affiliate to a website that you want to promote and locate other websites with large traffic volume and/or a huge mailing list and introduce them to the site and explain to them how they can make money for promoting the other site.
If the site owner signs up through you, you will get commissions for whatever they sell.
There are two ways the website you sign up as a second tier affiliate can promote the site you are brokering the deal for.
First, they can add a banner advertisement to their site.
Every time someone clicks on the ad and buys a product from the site you are brokering for, you earn your commission.
As there is no time frame for how long the ad may stay on their website, you will earn residual income from all other sales that they generate by clicking on the banner.
Second, the affiliate website may have a large email list of customers or subscribers interested in the products of the website you are brokering for.
They could send out an email blast to that list promoting the product and or website, and for every sale they make you earn your commission.
Unlike doing freelance work yourself, you did nothing more than find a site owner looking to sell more products, and then finding another website capable of selling more of that product.
So you haven't created a product, you haven't done any marketing.
All you've done is found a site with a two tier affiliate program, found another site with a large email list or decent traffic, and brought the two together through one simple email.
