- 1). Follow Highway 41 for three miles out of Oakhurst if you are traveling north. Travel for 10 miles from Yosemite's main entrance if you are traveling south.
- 2). Turn onto Road 632/Sky Ranch Road Northeast. The sign can be easy to miss, so be on the lookout.
- 3). Take Road 632 for seven miles and take a left at the Nelder Grove sign.
- 4). Drive for about a mile until you come to a fork in the road. Go left until you reach sign.
- 5). Enter the trailhead. Bull Buck is located at the end of the trail. The Shadow of the Giants Trail is a two-mile hike.
