Places to Travel in Canada
Canada is one country that's overlooked as a thrilling and one of the more cheap travel destinations.
North Canada is renowned for its breathtaking views ; mountainous ranges, amazing ski lodges and ski destinations, and so on.
Canada generally is home to the famous great lakes, cottage country and winter beauty.
It is home to famous spas and retreats, great outdoor adventures, superb natural resources and even a pseudo-desert in the Carcross regions of the Yukon.
I've traveled to many places in Canada and some of my favourite places to visit in Canada are : Emerald Lake, Yukon : Travelling along the South Klondike road in Southern Yukon, you can't help but spot the attractive blue-green color of Emerald Lake.
The jeweled color is formed by sunlight reflecting off white clay on the lake bed.
Carcross, Yukon : Carcross Yukon, a slight detour from the Alaska highway, south of Whitehorse, you can find the striking sands of what locals call the world smallest desert.
The Carcross desert is really a collection of sand dunes, approximately three kilometers in length and hosts a number of unique and in peril plants.
I found it to be a learning holiday and a cultural oasis for nature lovers.
Exploring the nautical past of Nova Scotia.
With over 20 lighthouses still spread across the many islets and coves between Yarmouth and Halifax, realms of pretty fishing towns, hamlets, sandy shores and rocky outcrops, it's a place full of history and personality.
Follow the trail of lighthouses and along the path, you'll find picture perfect period homes and fisherman houses that add so much personality to the area.
Not far away, one must also explore Liverpool.
Liverpool is my favorite city with the crying foghorns, nautical and maritime museum, rich and exciting privateering past.
Cape Breton : This is unquestionably for the nature lovers who love hiking.
In Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, enjoy the footpaths along its coasts, which the visitors and the locals alike love.
If you enjoy hiking, then ensure you hike up Cape Breton's Cabot Trail.
It's an experience you may never forget.
Prince Edward Island : This is the best place to hire a bike and ride the diverse roads that run along the country.
At night, you can always listen to and revel in the concert performances at Prince Edward Island's Indian brook.
Prince Edward Island is picturesque, lovely and pretty.
Other exciting places to visit in Canada are the northern country of Canada, home to several exciting holiday destinations, and comparatively cheap to visit by vehicle or aeroplane.
The country of Canada is a huge, a regularly under-estimated source of smashing opportunities, sights and experiences for world travelers.
For the average tourist in Canada, the prices for lodging and entertainment may appear a little expensive, but that also relies on what location you visit.
There are several bed and breakfasts scattered throughout the major tourist destinations that you can take advantage off.
Visit Canada and experience its amazing natural resources and wonderful beauties from the Great Lakes, the Rockies, Natural Parks, Cross Country Skiing, Down Hill Skiing, canoeing, Canoeing, fishing, and so on.
It's an memorable experience you will treasure forever.
