The TC 10, or The Training Camp 10, takes a look at 10 news and notes from that day's practice for the Philadelphia Eagles. The second day of practice wrapped up around 1:15 p.m.

Note: About.com was not in attendance at today's practice.
  1. After seeing every first-team rep on Sunday, Sam Bradford sat a few plays out as Mark Sanchez came in with the starters during team drills. There's still no competition here, but it's important to get Sanchez some throws with the top unit. According to Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com, it wasn't an impressive day for him.

  1. DeMarco Murray is back after not participating in team drills on Sunday. He took the reps in 7-on-7s and 11-on-11s, so that's a great sign.
  2. Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice shared on Twitter who was handling punt returns: Darren Sproles, Nelson Agholor, Josh Huff, Jordan Matthews, Miles Austin and Kenjon Barner. That's a lot of options for the Eagles to choose from and honestly, all six of them could be on the team if the Kelly decides to carry four running backs.
  3. Geoff Mosher of CSN pointed out that Andrew Gardner received first-team reps at right guard. The staff is most likely going to keep rotating guys in through the first week to get an idea of what they have.
  4. Bill Davis spoke to the media prior to practice and mentioned how, in hindsight, he failed to play Nolan Carroll on the outside when he should have made the move. Carroll will definitely get his shot this season as the expected starter opposite Maxwell. It is also a good sign to see a coach admit a mistake like that as it means he spent a lot of time this offseason studying the film.

  1. Matt Lombardo of NJ.com & 97.5 The Fanatic made a great observation between Sam Bradford and Jordan Matthews, saying how the two already really seem to be developing chemistry. Bradford made a few nice passes to the second-year man during Monday's practice, including a would-be 65-yard touchdown.
  2. Brent Celek didn't have a great day as Ed Kracz of the Bucks County Courier pointed out. The tight end had two dropped passes.
  3. Tim Tebow had some nice plays today as BGN's Brandon Gowton noticed. He also was accurate. The highly-discussed quarterback appears to be a serious threat for the the third-string spot. Lombardo even went as far as to say that this was Tebow's best day and AC Press' Dave Weinberg added that Tebow was the best QB of the day.
  4. Reportedly Fletcher Cox and Vinny Curry were working with the linebackers today. There's nothing concrete here, so who knows what was going on there. It is something interesting to follow, though, and to see if anything else like this occurs later on in camp.
  5. Travis Longsuffered some type of injury that forced him to head to the trainer's tent. There will be more details of this later on, but for now, nothing else is known.
