• Indian Flame Restaurant is located downtown in University Circle. The restaurant is conveniently located on Euclid Avenue near the Euclid-East 120th rapid transit station, on the edge of the Case Western Reserve University campus. This casual and inexpensive Indian bistro serves lunch and dinner seven days per week, with a buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Indian Flame provides take out and delivery service.

Cafe Tandoor

• Cafe Tandoor has three locations, including one downtown on Taylor Road, one in Westlake, and another in nearby Aurora. The restaurant specializes in Tandoori cooking, which utilizes a large, dome-shaped clay tandoori oven to cook beards and meats. Dishes are served a la carte and intended to be shared. Dishes served at Cafe Tandoor include the ever-popular Tandoori chicken, as well as boti kebab (marinated boneless lamb) and Bombay fish curry. Tandoor's menu also features numerous vegetarian dishes, including chana pindi (chick peas sauteed with tomatoes and spices) and saag shabnam (spinach and mushrooms, sauteed in a light sauce). Cafe Tandoor is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, except the Aurora location which is closed Mondays.

India Garden

• Ten minutes from the center of Cleveland in the Lakeside area is India Garden, which specializes in the cuisine of Northern India, as well as "hakka" cuisine, which combines Indian and Chinese influences. The menu includes goat biryani (goat meat on the bone, served on rice with nuts, raisins and eggs), aaloo gobhi (cauliflower and potatoes cooked with coriander, tomatoes and spices) and various tandoori dishes. The restaurant serves a vast array of vegetarian options. India Garden is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, and catering services are available. The proprietors also run the nearby Indian grocery store Indian Food Emporium, located at 17796 Detroit Road.
