    Original Pancake House

    • Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1953, the Original Pancake House is now located in 27 states. Menu items are not limited to pancakes. You can order vegetarian omelets, corned beef hash, waffles, crepes and various meats including bacon, ham and sausage. The Original Pancake House's signature item is the Apple Pancake complete with apples, cinnamon sugar and a sugar glaze.

    • The International House of Pancakes (IHOP) was founded by Al and Jerry Lapin in 1958 in Toluca Lake, California. The vast menu includes mainly breakfast options like omelets, French toast, waffles, and crepes. The Pick-a-Pancake Combo includes two famous pancakes of your choice served with eggs, hash browns and bacon or sausage. In Dallas, Texas, IHOP is open 24-hours.

    • The Egg and I was opened in 1987 in Fort Collins, Colorado.The restaurant is now found in seven states including 14 locations in Texas. Beverages include gourmet coffee and pure-squeezed orange juice among other favorites. The restaurant is famous in Texas for its specialty roasted coffees. The restaurant features five different omelets on the menu including the spinach omelet, western omelet, Mexican omelet, cheese omelet and vegetarian omelet. One of the restaurants signature breakfasts is the Brazilian Breakfast featuring two eggs, an empanada (Spanish turnover with flaky crust and sweet or spicy filling) topped with cream sauce, cheese, tomatoes and is served with rosemary potatoes and white-bread toast. Coffees include single and double shot espressos, cappuccinos, mochas and lattes. Flavor selections are vast and include vanilla, sugar-free vanilla, caramel, peach, almond, cherry, Irish cream and hazelnut among others.
