How to Make a Vest With a Paper Sack
- 1). Sketch a collar on the bottom flap of the paper sack using a pencil. Lift the bottom flap and draw a straight line down the length of the bag.
- 2). Fold the bag over lengthwise so the sides of the bag are facing up. Draw a circle for an arm hole. Repeat on the opposite side of the paper sack.
- 3). Cut along the lines you drew with scissors. Cut along the bottom portion of the vest to form fringe for a Native American or '60s vest. Form a "v" shape at the bottom of each front side of the paper sack for a cowboy vest.
- 4). Color the paper bag with markers. Draw symbols for a Native American or cowboy vest.
- 5). Embellish the paper sack vest with feathers or beads.
