Slice a lemon and squeeze its juice into a bowl. Bottled lemon juice will work as well, but fresh lemon juice may be more effective.

    • 2). Dip a cotton ball or cotton swab into the lemon juice, then dab it onto your sunspots. Allow the lemon juice to dry completely on your face, which should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

    • 3). Rinse your face thoroughly with water and pat dry. Perform this routine on a daily basis to see results.

Mix together one part borax with two parts granulated sugar in a container that has a sealing lid.

    • 2). Place the lid on the container and let the mixture sit in place for two days.

    • 3). Remove the lid from the container and stir the mixture.

    • 4). Apply the mixture to your sunspots using a cotton ball or cotton swab. Let it dry on your face for about 15 minutes, or until it is completely dry.

    • 5). Rinse your face with water to remove the mixture. Continue to reapply this mixture to your face on a daily basis until your spots fade away.
