    • 1). Lean back against the chair and scoot your backside toward the edge of the chair.

    • 2). Sit upright and cross your arms over your chest. This will keep you from accidentally using your hands.

    • 3). Bend your knees and slightly stagger your feet and place them flat on the floor.

    • 4). Slowly rock forward and back at your waist three times to gain momentum. On the third time, lean quickly forward and bring your nose in front of your toes. Straighten your legs and bring yourself into a standing position.

    • 5). Stand in front of the chair and take small steps backward until you feel the chair touching the back of your legs.

    • 6). Slightly stagger your feet and cross your arms over your chest. Slowly lower your backside to the chair.
