    Symptoms

    • Tooth pain due to sinus problems causes discomfort below the eyes, in the back of the head, toothache and headache. Sinus problems can cause discomfort in the mouth because the molars are below the sinuses.

    To Relieve Symptoms of Sinusitis

    • Sinusitis is most commonly treated with antibiotics like tetracycline, which can be prescribed by your doctor. Herbal and natural remedies also exist and could help to provide you some relief of symptoms and aid in decreasing tooth pain. Inhaling steam and rinsing with saltwater also can alleviate some of your symptoms.

    Toothache Remedies

    • Flossing or swishing with whiskey can relieve tooth pain. Mixing a few drops of clove oil with 1/4 teaspoon olive oil and applying it to the area with a cotton ball can also decrease pain in the mouth. Other remedies for toothaches are peppermint (oil, fresh or dried), a slice of ginger root, a wet tea bag, garlic, wheatgrass and raw onion.

    Over the Counter Medications

    • Over-the-counter medications are available for sinus pain and pressure. Tylenol and Advil both make their own versions of sinus medications. They both have a pain reliever and added ingredients to relieve the symptoms of sinus problems such as congestion, runny nose, sneezing or coughing.
