How do I Make a Creative Swiss Flag?
- 1). Draw a broad, symmetrical, equilateral white cross in the center of the cardboard, so that it extends across the length and width of the cardboard. Leave enough space around the cross so that one or more carnations might fit between each end of the cross and the edge of the cardboard. Use the ruler to make straight and even lines.
- 2). Snip the stem from one white carnation, leaving the flower head intact and dip the snipped end in white glue, and affix the red carnation head to the cross shape. Repeat, until the cross is comprised of solid white carnations.
- 3). Snip the stem from one red carnation, leaving the flower head intact and dip the snipped end in white glue, and affix the white carnation head to the background, surrounding the cross. Repeat, until the flag is comprised of solid carnation flower heads.
