For free: • The Ancient Foro - If you don't speak Italian, then Foro means 'Forum' as in marketplace.
The Ancient Foro in Rome is the old marketplace and business centre.
You can visit when the Romans did their shopping, trading and banking.
• Appia Antica - On a Sunday, no vehicles are allowed to use the roads in this area which gives you a chance to stroll along the road and take in and stop at any ancient monuments and artifacts that take your fancy.
• The Spanish Steps - Something that EVERYONE who goes to Rome has to visit and it's great because it is free so it gives you a great cheap holiday in Rome.
