    • 1). Install ventilation fans in the kitchen and bathroom to reduce moisture in the air and prevent mold from growing. Open doors and windows when cooking or cleaning for better air circulation.

    • 2). Repair cracks or leaks in your home's plumbing system, which may be contributing to humidity.

    • 3). Ensure that gutters and downspouts are cleared of leaves or other obstructions to prevent water backing up into the roof. Redirect downspouts away from your home to prevent water seeping into your home's foundation.

    • 4). Install a dehumidifier in particularly humid rooms to absorb humidity. Air conditioners will also reduce moisture in the air.

    • 5). Ensure that clothes dryers are vented to the outdoors so that the dryer's moist air exhaust does not increase humidity levels indoors.
