- Was 119-57 as a pitcher in Mexico, and had an incredible 1938 season in Mexico - .387 batting and 18-2 with a 0.90 ERA as a pitcher.
- Threw the first no-hitter in Mexican League history.
- Combined stats in all leagues: .302, at least 130 home runs and a 252-132 pitching record.
