  • Hockey is played by two teams with 11 members on each team.
  • You team's goal is to score by using your hockey sticks to hit the ball in to your enemy's goal.
  • You must use the flat surface of the hockey stick for hitting the hockey ball.
  • For goal keepers, your job is to keep the enemy's hockey ball away from your team's goal. You should know how to learn how to hit the hockey ball away from your team's base or goal.
  • If your team has the ball, then you should be attentive and protect the ball from your enemies. You need to study some defensive stance in field hockey, don't worry because the positions are quite easy to follow.

Field hockey is fun and entertaining. If you really want to get better in playing hockey then you should study all the rules and the valid moves. You should also need to exercise to keep your body fit and light. This will require you months of consistent practice, that's why you need to be passionate and patient.
