Traveler's Century Club of South Florida

• Traveler's Century Club of South Florida is a chapter of the national travel club that started in 1954. Membership in the Travelers Century Club is reserved for travelers that have visited 100 or more countries. Membership fees are $100 plus $50 in annual dues. There are over 1,800 members in the club who have been to over 300 countries combined. The South Florida club caters to the over 50 crowd so look elsewhere if you're looking for a family-friendly travel club.

South Florida Museum Travel Club

• South Florida Museum Travel Club is affiliated with the South Florida Museum and has four exciting trips available for members. Each trip benefits the museum's educational programs as Collette Vacations, the company who handles the travel logistics, donates money for each traveler on each trip. Members receive discounted rates on all trips as well. The first trip is called "Reflections of Italy," and is a 10-day journey through Italy that includes stops in Rome, Assisi, Perugia, Umbria, Florence, Venice and Milan, complete with historical sightseeing and wine tasting in Tuscany. The second trip is called "Journey through Jordan & Egypt," a 15-day trip in which you will see the cities of Amman, Petra, Cairo, Giza and Luxor, with a rich historical trip full of pyramids and old-world mystery. The third trip is called "Beijing City Stay," and is a nine-day tour of the city of Beijing, with attractions such as the Beijing Zoo, Peking Opera and Great Wall of China. The fourth and final "Shades of Ireland" trip has stops in Dublin, Waterford, Limerick and Kingscourt.

Cape Coral Travel Club

• Cape Coral Travel Club Southwest Florida is an online-based travel group that is open to all ages. This group encourages membership from people who are novice travelers, experienced travelers and everything in between. Cape Coral Travel Club focuses on seeing the world at a discounted rate. Members have access to over 200 trips every year, from long weekends to month-long excursions around the world. Some destinations available include Europe, Caribbean, New England and Bermuda, with trips such as scuba diving cruises, skiing in Canada, all-inclusive beach resorts and castle tours in historical Europe. Club organizers schedule day trips, excursions and evening entertainment for each trip. • The Trip of the Month Travel Club is an online-based travel club with at least one regularly scheduled trip each month. The club is free to join and takes trip suggestions from all members of the group. The demographic make-up of this travel group tends to be people who are younger and single, and the trips in this travel club tend to appeal to people who want a more adventurous, lively travel experience.
