5 Things That Brides Should Not Worry About

Being detail oriented can really help you when you are planning a wedding.
However, no bride can control every aspect of her wedding, nor should she try to.
Find out which little things you can let go of - these are five things that brides should not bother worrying about.
One: Your Bridesmaids' Hair, Makeup, and Accessories.
Please, please, please do not try to micro-manage how your bridesmaids fix their hair or what color lipstick they wear.
It is not worth your time, and will only drive your bridesmaids crazy.
Your friends are grown women, and they should be trusted to show up looking pretty on your wedding day.
It is also not necessary to worry about whether each attendant is wearing identical bridesmaid jewelry or shoes.
In fact, when all the ladies are wearing the same dress, unique bridesmaid jewelry and cute shoes can be a terrific way for each bridesmaid to look like an individual.
Two: The Exact Shade of Flowers in the Bouquets.
It is almost inevitable: you bring your florist swatches to get the perfect shade of peach roses for your spring wedding, and on the day of the wedding, the bouquets arrive looking more coral than peach.
It is disappointing, to be sure, but there is nothing you can do about the colors of the flowers an hour before the ceremony begins.
Screaming at the florist will not help, and crying will only make your makeup run.
Take a deep breath, and try to remember that no one but you will ever know that the flowers are not the exact shade you wanted.
Three: What Guests Wear to Your Wedding.
Let's face it, you can give all the hints you want about what type of attire is appropriate for your event, but there will always be one or two guests who show up in something that is just plain wrong.
There is the man who wears his running shoes with a suit to your formal afternoon nuptials or the aunt who shows up at your morning ceremony wearing a low cut cocktail dress showing way too much cleavage.
By the time they get to your wedding, there is nothing you can do about what your guests are wearing, so there is no point letting it bother you.
Just remember that dressing inappropriately reflects poorly on the person who does it, not on the bride.
Four: The Weather.
Almost every bride hopes for perfect weather on her wedding day, but the reality is that lots of people tie the knot on days that are rainy, snowy, freezing cold, or hot and humid.
Watching the weather forecast like a hawk will do nothing to improve the conditions outside.
All you can do about the weather is grin and bear it.
And remember the old saying that rain on your wedding day is good luck (a saying that was probably invented by a mother of a bride whose wedding day was a soggy mess!).
Five:Looking Nervous During Your Vows.
Almost every bride and groom will feel a little nervous when it comes time to say their wedding vows.
They might giggle inappropriately, cry, drop the wedding rings, or even say their spouse's name incorrectly (Princess Diana did that).
It's okay; people will understand.
No one will think less of you because you are a little on edge during your wedding vows.
And just think of how relaxed you will feel when the ceremony has concluded and you can go start the party at your wedding reception!
