Step back in time at the Charm General Store that stocks everything from housewares and a full grocery to a deli and ice cream shop.

      This charming inn has 15 smoke-free rooms decorated with solid hardwood furniture. All rooms have the name of a family member rather than numbers. The rooms look out to a beautiful countryside and farms. Stroll the gardens, walk the country lane nearby, or sit on benches by the pond. Guests may see Amish farmers tilling their lands by horse. Included in the price is a homemade country breakfast and evening snack. Sundays are the day of rest, but a continental breakfast is provided. This country inn is perfect for those who want peace and quiet. No televisions are in the rooms and children accommodations are limited. The inn requests that when guests include children, the children must be on their best behavior out of respect for other guests. The owners do not allow alcohol beverages at the inn.

    The Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast

      One mile from Charm in Millersburg, the Barn Inn is one of the 2009-2010 top ten bed and breakfast establishments in Amish country, according to the Barn Inn. The inn is a gateway to a variety of tours into Amish country. Enjoy a meal in an Amish home or peruse the Holmes County Flea Market, open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Barn Inn has seven rooms in the original Barn, built around the turn of the century, two with gas fireplaces, and a one- or two-person whirlpool. Four rooms located in the west wing VIP suites include king or queen beds and a two person Jacuzzi. Included with the price of room is a hearty breakfast. The Inn at Honey Run, next to the Barn Inn, accepts Barn Inn guests for dinner. The Barn Inn is a nonsmoking inn. Smokers must be at least 20 feet away from the premises to light up.

    Guggisberg Swiss Inn Bed and Breakfast

    • The Guggisberg Swiss Inn sits on a hill surrounded by Amish farms. The inn has 24 rooms, including a honeymoon suite and a handicapped room. All rooms have satellite television, two extra-long double beds, and a vanity. Breakfast consists of fresh breads, cold meats, cheeses, coffee, milk, tea, cereal, fruits, and sweet rolls served in a glass-sided dining room. Watch the pond with swans while dining. A riding stable is on the premises. Guests may go horseback riding or take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage for an additional fee.
