- 1). Pour 1-1/2 cups water into your oven roaster.
- 2). Plug in the appliance and preheat it to 350 degrees.
- 3). Allow the roaster to fully heat for at least 20 minutes before adding the hot dogs.
- 4). Insert the rack into the bottom of the roaster oven.
- 5). Place the hot dogs on top of the rack so the water does not touch them.
- 6). Cover the roaster and do not open it while the hot dogs steam for 10 to 15 minutes.
- 7). Use tongs to remove the hot dogs off of the steaming rack in the roaster. Avoid piercing the hot dogs to maintain their juiciness.
- 8). Unplug the roaster oven.
- 9). Serve the hot dogs with condiments if desired.
