How to Make a Baby Rattle Invitation
- 1). Trace or draw the outline of a baby rattle onto a sheet of card stock, making its head round and large enough to hold the wording.
- 2). Cut out the outline of the rattle and use it to trace additional rattles onto the remaining card stock. Cut out the rattles you traced onto the card stock with a utility knife or pair of scissors.
- 3). Measure the height and width of the rattle's head.
- 4). Cut several sheets of paper (equal to the number of invitations) to fit within the measurement.
- 5). Type the details of your invitation. Some online party stores provide verses for those who can't create their own. Follow the verse with the name of the parents; the date, time and location of the shower; and RSVP information.
- 6). Format the text and align it to fit onto the large, circular top of the baby rattle.
- 7). Print a copy of the text for each invitation.
- 8). Use a pair of zigzag scissors to cut out the text so it fits a smaller area than the sheets you cut in Step 4.
- 9). Glue a sheet of text onto each larger sheet of paper from Step 4. Glue the larger sheet of cut paper onto the circular area of the baby rattle.
