How to Whiten Your Teeth at Home

Put your best foot forward with a bright, white, glowing smile without having to pay the high price for laser whitening.
Sure, there seem to be a number of ways to get those pearly whites their brightest by purchasing whitening gels, trays or strips, but sensitive teeth can find those solutions to be abrasive, and your wallet can find them to be less than lovely.
Try some alternatives using everyday items found in your kitchen.
Baking soda has long been an ingredient used in toothpastes to bring out the white in your pearly whites, and it's a great product to use for at-home treatments as well.
In a small bowl, mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a few squirts of lime juice - just enough to form a paste out of the mixture.
Brush your teeth with the paste, and rinse as you would normally.
Another great whitening trick employs the use of strawberries - smashed to a pulp, and mixed evenly with baking soda.
This should also form a paste, which can be used as a substitute for regular toothpaste.
However, for best results, you may want to let the mixture rest of your teeth for a good five minutes or so before rinsing.
If you have difficulty removing the strawberry mixture, brush thoroughly with regular toothpaste immediately after.
If you want a brilliant, shining smile, visit your local drug store and invest in a bottle of hydrogen peroxide.
Although this household staple may not yield the most delicious taste, it works wonders on whitening your enamel when swished and gargled a few times a week.
However, be careful not to swallow any of the liquid, as it could have adverse side effects.
You can also create a paste using hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, which will have the same effect as the aforementioned pastes.
In a week or two, you'll be quite white!
