The Pittsburgh International Airport, located west of downtown Pittsburgh, straddles the border between Allegheny and Beaver counties. There are quite a number of hotels that are conveniently located near the airport, and they range from full-service, business-traveler-friendly hotels to lower-cost inns and motels. Room rates listed below are as of September 2010. Also, as of the same date, the first four hotels listed in this article run courtesy shuttles to and from the airport. - The Hyatt Regency is the only hotel that is physically connected to the airport via a covered walkway. The nightly room rates are typically upward of $200, but the convenience of the location, plus amenities such as a fitness center, a business center, multiple meeting rooms and on-site event planners, make this a useful hotel for business travelers.

According to the Embassy Suites website, of the 200-plus guest rooms in this facility, 70 are two-room suites consisting of a bedroom and a living area. In addition to having the normal business hotel amenities, such as a business center, a fitness center and meeting rooms, this hotel is pet-friendly.

It has many of the normal amenities for business travelers and offers wired and wireless high-speed Internet access in the public areas and meeting rooms.
