What Are the Diet Pill Choices Today?
Diet Pill Comparison There are many kinds of diet pills on the market and in this hub I will try to explain what the idea between them is and how you can better choose, if you do decide to choose what kind of diet pill is best for you Diet and exercise are key Before I start with the pills I have to admit that I am not a fan at all of diet pills in general because for most people it is much easier to lose weight by eating well and exercising.
As we all know it can be a challenge to eat well or exercise but I am convinced that these are going to help 90% of the people out there.
I will link to a diet and exercise hub as soon as I create one.
Three kind of diet pills There are three kinds of diet pills.
The first diet pill is the kind that raises your metabolism; this is a kind of upper and will have an effect more like caffeine then anything.
The next kind of diet pill is designed to stop you from getting hungry, this is an appetite suppressant.
The third kind of diet pill is a much different, this kind of pill stops your body from metabolizing either fats or carbohydrates to try and make you not get penalized for what you eat.
Metabolism diet pills These kinds of pills are diet pills that include either Ephedrine (now banned) or ma huang (a natural ephedrine substitute), or a green tea based product.
The idea behind these items is that they will raise your metabolism and your heart rate and therefore you will lose weight.
The drawback with these pills is that your body will counteract by having you get hungry so in order to really lose the weight you will have to be careful to still watch your diet closely.
Appetite Suppressant Well this is the busiest part of the diet pill area these days and it is because of an African plant called hoodia that has taken the industry by storm.
Thanks to a 60 minutes television episode the world heard about how great hoodia is and it inspired drug companies to quickly fire out products into supermarkets and pharmacies to capitalize on the market.
The trouble with all of this is that most hoodia based products in fact contain very little hoodia so they do not really work.
Fat or carb blockers These are very new items on the market and each does exactly this, they stop your body from metabolizing either carbohydrates or fats and instead you just poo them out.
Not pretty but pretty effective I guess.
Since these products are new to the market no one really knows too much about hem except that the US FDA has approved them to be used for weight loss.
Diet pill recomendation No matter which of the above products that you decide to use you can now make a decision based on what you really need to lose weight.
If will power is an issue you can try a carb blocker, if exercise does not seem to be bringing up your metabolism you can try supplementing with a green tea product to raise your metabolism and if you tend to binge on foods then maybe the appetite suppressant is what you are looking for.
In the end though please still make sure that these are in fact supplements and that you are still eating well and exercising.
