How to Check on a Shipping Order
- 1). Find your tracking number. If you bought an item from an online source, contact them or check your email to see if the item has been shipped and what the tracking number is. If you shipped an item yourself, the tracking number should be on your receipt or other paperwork presented when finalizing the shipping purchase.
- 2). Go to the shipping service's website and click locate the "Tracking" page. This may be on the home page, or you may need to click a link labeled "Track" or "Tracking."
- 3). Enter the tracking number in the tracking box and click "Enter," "Go" or "Track." The results will appear in the next page and will list the checkpoints the package passed and the anticipate delivery date.
