Victoria (on the domra) and Dmitry (on the piano) were exceptional entertainers. The domra is similar to a balalaika, and has a delightful sound.

The domra is a three-stringed traditional Russian folk musical instrument. It is melon-shaped, with a shorter neck than a balalaika. The strings are tuned E - A - D, while the balalaika strings are tuned E - E - A. A domra is played with the thumb on the right hand or a pick. In a folk orchestra, the domra plays the same role as a violin in a symphony orchestra.
