Quercetin Blocks E-Coli Infection

The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology conducted a study on E-coli infection and found a way to prevent it.
But before I get into that, what is e-coli and why is it medically dangerous? E-coli is the name of bacteria that lives in the digestive tract of humans and animals.
There are a number of different types of e-coli and most of them are harmless.
There are those forms of e-coli that can cause bloody diarrhea, severe cramps and anemia or kidney failure.
E-coli infections are caused when you come in contact with the feces or stool of humans or animals.
I believe this explanation of e-coli makes it very evident why it can be dangerous and needs to be avoided.
Escherichia coli, is a common e-coli, it is also an extensive bacterium.
It accumulates in the lower intestine of humans and warm blooded animals.
Biologists define e-coli as friendly bacteria that reliably provides vitamin K.
But there are some strains of e-coli that are dangerous causing complications such as Mastitis, Septicaemia and food poisoning.
There are also e-coli strains that potentially produce lethal toxins along with dangerous diseases.
It can also be very dangerous when uncooked food or unwashed vegetables enter the abdomen and are infected and this can prove to be deadly.
E-coli's dangers have to be avoided by following precautions and prompt actions to prevent infection.
Most of the time antibiotics are not able to control diseases caused by e-coli, this is because e-coli bacteria can develop drug resistance very quickly and in the end the antibiotic will be useless.
There are natural methods that have been developed to control and cure diseases caused by e-coli.
Quercetin is a chemical that originates in plants, vegetables and fruits.
Quercetin is involved in a great deal of research and so there is still much to be learned about this compound.
But quercetin has been found to be very helpful in blocking or controlling cancer, especially ovarian and breast cancer.
Quercetin has also been found to be effective in controlling high blood pressure and provides protection to cells from hazardous free radical cells.
One of the benefits that quercetin gives is its ability to be anti-inflammatory.
This can be used to cut cholesterol and cardiovascular disease.
Quercetin is also very helpful because it is a cell inhibiter.
This is why it is so useful in fighting diseases caused by e-coli bacteria.
The body is helped by quercetin to produce inflammatory mediators such as histamine from being struck down with e-coli infections.
