How does the process work?
Mcole finance provides BG's , SBLC's, and CD's, which can be blocked or delivered via SWIFT.
Our banks handle the blocking of funds on your behalf, therefore these bank instruments are considered "leased". The instrument is owned by the issuer and you are the beneficiary.
Bank Instruments are usually issued for 1 year and 1 day, however, they can generally be extended up to 5 years. Once the bank instrument has been issued it is transferred to your bank via the Swift protocol of MT760.
Financing via Collateralized Bank Instrument's includes several costs you need to be aware of.
Firstly the fees you pay to the issuer of the Bank Guarantee/Collateral Instrument, and the commissions/success fee for the consultants who facilitate your application.
Your bank then receives the Bank Guarantee, and then may provide you a line of Credit against the Collateral, the highest LTV ratio of 90% is the best you can ask for. Your bank may also charge you a one off fee to ‘monetize ‘ your collateralized instrument and of course you will incur interest charges on the amount you have drawn down through your credit line.
Mcole finance helps you analyze the prospect of your success in applying for a Bank Guarantee based on the following important considerations.
1) The Viability of your Project
2) The Support of the Receiving Bank/ Line of Credit Provider
3) Sufficient Funds available to cover the costs of the Collateral/ Bank Charges/ Fees
4) You need to provide a sound exit strategy showing the viability of repaying your loan and returning the instrument at term.
