New York City has no shortage of nightclubs where you can dance the night away. The majority of nightclubs in the city play a variety of music and don't specialize in just rap or hip hop. However, some clubs have special hip hop or rap nights and others play a mixture including rap and hip hop. - The 40/40 Club combines sports, food and hip hop music. Jay-Z owns the club and filmed two of his music videos in it. The 40/40 regularly hosts celebrity guest deejays and is open from Wednesday to Monday from 6 p.m to 4 a.m. Sometimes the hours change if a major sporting event is taking place. The club is decorated with sports memorabilia and plasma TVs showing sporting events.
