Selling on eBay doesn't have to be difficult, irregardless of how the economy is doing.
To those that are struggling, here are some quick tips and tricks to boost your eBay sales: Start an email newsletter: Build up a newsletter list from previous buyers.
If you offered both a great product or service, there is absolutely no reason as to why they wouldn't be interested in hearing from you.
Think about it! You could have more sales just by clicking the "send" button.
Send a paper letter to your buyers: It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just a simple letterhead with your contact information and just a small thank you to them and that you appreciate their business.
Also tell them if they were really happy with your service, that you would really appreciate positive feedback.
Positive feedback: Positive feedback is huge in this business.
You can build your score up by buying things on eBay.
Most sellers are always happy to provide positive feedback.
If you don't want to splurge just buy some necessities like toothpaste or soap from a respected eBay seller that you know you will get positive feedback from.
Answer emails: Some sellers take forever to answer the simplest of emails and they wonder why their business is slumping.
Don't put it off.
Answer it the moment you see it.
There could be a potential sale there.
You don't want to give them any time to change their mind.
Ship internationally: Some sellers only sell to the US residents.
This makes absolutely no sense.
You are costing yourself a lot of sales.
For some reason, people think that the package is easier to lose if its being sent to another country.
That's just not the case.
I have never had a lost package when shipping internationally and approximately 35% of my sales are from another country.
These are just some of the many tips and tricks that one needs to learn if they want to be successful selling on eBay.
