  The village resort of Villars-sur Ollon is in the heart of the Vaud Alps at an altitude of 1,300 meters. It overlooks the Rhone Valley and offers views from Lake Geneva to Mont-Blanc. It has international inhabitants and guests of all ages, and is home to two expensive European boarding schools. Summer activities include hiking, biking and golf. In the winter, its ski slopes, ice rink, walking trails, and sledge runs are as busy as its after-skiing scenes. Accommodations include chalets, apartments, condotels, and hotels.

• The 110-room Bristol Hotel has views of the peaks of Dent-du-Midi and is beautifully decorated in natural shades of wood. It is five minutes from the cable cars and close to Aiglon College and College Alpin International Beau Solei. All rooms and suites have television, a minibar, safe, telephone and Wi-Fi connection. The hotel has a restaurant and six multipurpose rooms that can accommodate from 6 to 90 people and are equipped with Wi-Fi, projector, LCD screen for business seminars, training sessions, conferences, and other events. • Located in the centre of Villars, the Alpe Fleurie offers housing options for different needs and budgets. Its standard twin and double rooms are designed with wooden interiors, have bathrooms with shower or bath tub, and balconies with views. Junior suites have a mezzanine with two beds, a balcony with view. A lift gives direct access to a 100-square-meter penthouse with a double room, a triple room, a single room and two bathrooms. • This hotel, a few steps from the railway station, is less than 10 miles from Geneva Lake and 45 miles from Geneva International Airport. It has views of Dents-du-Midi, 63 spacious rooms and suites, a well-being center with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and private spa with bar, TV and relaxation area. A meeting space of 315 square meters may be separated into three fully-equipped meeting rooms, with terraces overlooking the slopes. The restaurant offers seasonal menus, buffets and wedding packages. Chalet RoyAlp claims to be the first ski-in ski-out hotel in the Vaud Alps, with direct access to the slopes in the winter and to the golf course in the summer.
