Do you want to know how to lose weight? Many people try.
Weight loss is often times a psychological thing.
There are hidden mental triggers or external triggers that will cause an onslaught of binge eating.
On the other hand, it can be a simple matter of eating too much and eating too fast.
Gaining weight occurs when more food enters the body than is needed to maintain the body through out a day.
It might sound obvious.
Being aware of an issue and its starting point can help disarm the problem.
Focus on why you have a weight problem.
Try to determine the cause of overeating.
Is it depression? Are you lonely? Are you bored? Usually there are reasons why people eat too much.
It is logical to focus on the underlying problem and focus on potential solutions to this underlying issue and then perhaps progress can begin toward becoming more in balance.
A balanced life should include a social outlet.
Some people are not satisfied in this area of life and it can manifest itself through eating unhealthy snacks or eating too much and too often.
A balanced life should involve activity.
Activity can be a sport, or it can be a walk in the park.
An active life does not mean that you have to join a gym.
There are many outlets for getting physical activity.
Get a part time job working where physical activity is part of the job.
Stocking shelves at a retail store could offer physical activity and make extra money! Who can argue with that? Killing two birds with one stone, now that is efficiency! Actually, this could be three birds with one stone because you might make a friend at that new part time job! Positive thinking can help.
It is not the solution.
You still have to get up and get going!
