How to Exchange Currency in Jamaica
- 1). Locate a currency exchange counter. They can be found in the Kingston and Montegeo Bay airports, banks, cambios (currency exchanges), and hotels. Exchange rates change daily and are posted online and in major Jamaican newspapers.
- 2). Give your currency to the desk clerk, and tell him the denominations you would like in return. Many smaller Jamaican merchants prefer $100 notes to larger bills.
- 3). Take your money from the clerk, and count it before leaving the counter.
