Kundalini meditation is a meditative technique that will develop your capability to love.
You will enjoy an increased energy for caring actions.
Kundalini can be defined as an energy that is aroused by positive, loving attitudes.
This energy maintains our effort of freewill.
Kundalini meditation may not suit every individual, but it is definitely worth exploring.
When we practice kundalini meditation we naturally increase kundalini and our mind is energized to perform loving thoughts and actions.
Prepare for kundalini meditation by comfortably sitting on a chair or cross-legged on the floor.
Close your eyes and keep your hands folded in your lap.
Begin breathing exercises to calm and clear the mind.
Once the mind is peaceful, think lovingly of a person in your life.
These loving thoughts will arouse kundalini and the body will be re-charged by the peacefulness of meditation.
This renewed energy will then be available once the body is reawakened from meditation.
When practicing kundalini meditation, pay special attention to your breathing process and observe any tightness in your muscles.
Breathing deeply will increase the supply of oxygen to the brain and help to increase one's energy.
A feeling of sluggishness or lethargy could be due to a lack of oxygen.
You may want to spend a few minutes concentrating on relaxing tense muscles.
Start from your head and end at your toes, systematically relaxing any tension found.
Stretching may also help to ease tight muscles.
To allow kundalini to take effect, the mind should be free from cluttering thoughts.
Music and visualizations will assist you.
Try listening to calming background music with no lyrics.
Songs with words could end up distracting you.
There are various visualizations that will free your mind from clutter.
One visualization that is often used in kundalini meditation is that of the pink bubble.
Place an individual thought that is bothering you in the pink bubble and then release the bubble.
Watch the bubble as it floats away.
Always acknowledge thoughts and then eliminate them.
Once peace and stillness is achieved you can focus on kundalini meditation.
Start by visualizing yourself surrounded by a sphere of white light.
At the base of your spine visualize a tiny root that then grows down through the earth's different layers to the center of the earth.
The core of the earth will be filled with energy and light.
The light and energy will travel back up the root and begin to spread throughout your body.
Concentrate a little more on any painful or troubled areas.
Allow the light and energy to eliminate all inner darkness.
