- 1). Open Firefox.
- 2). Hold the "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys, then press "B" to open the bookmarks library.
- 3). Click "Bookmarks Menu" in the left pane. You can additionally click "Bookmarks Toolbar" or "Unsorted Bookmarks" to save them as well. Hold the "Ctrl" key and press "A" to highlight them all.
- 4). Click "Import and Backup" in the top menu bar of the "Library" window and select "Export HTML."
- 5). Click the floppy drive in the left-hand pane of the "Export Bookmarks File" window and click "Save." Your bookmarks are saved in a file named "bookmarks.html" by default.
