Keyword Density Secrets

When calculating keyword density, you have to know how many times you used that keyword within your article.
Also, you must know how to find a keyword that is searched often on the internet and not too competitive.
Finding a good keyword helps your website, article, video, or blog rank better in the search engines.
I am first going to explain what a keyword phrase is, and how you should use that keyword phrase.
When searching for information on the internet people type certain phrases, or problem statements to find an answer.
If you have a website that you want to rank high in the search engines, you should use a problem statement.
For example, you could use "What is the best home based business?" You should also try to link the keywords to your title in order to get better search results for your website, article, or anything that is used as an advertisement.
If your article, blog, video, or website is optimized for the problem statement correctly, you can rank really high in the search engines.
Second, when searching for a keyword phrase you can use word tracker or Google keyword tool.
Word tracker allows you to dig deep and it gives an analysis of the KEI, competition, and the results for that keyword for the next 24 hours.
KEI stands for Keyword Effectiveness Index.
It is a formula used to calculate how competitive, and popular a group of keywords are in the search engines.
You want to look for a phrase that has a high KEI, lots of clicks, and low competition.
Basically, the higher the KEI, the better your website will rank in the search engines.
If the KEI is 0-10, do not choose that phrase.
If the KEI is 11-100, or 400+, than you found a really great keyword.
Third, when focusing on keyword density there is a formula you can use, which is (Nkr x Nwp/ Tkn) x 100.
(The Nkr stands for number of times a keyword or keyword phrase appears and repeats in your article.
) Nwp stands for number of words in the keyword phrase and Tkn means the total known number of words in an article, or words on the webpage.
To understand this better, follow this example: Nkr is 15, Nwp is 2 (number of words in keyword phrase, such as redtomatoes), and Tkn, which is 550.
Meaning your formula should be as follows (15 x 2/550) x 100=5.
45%.
When it comes to keyword density, the average is 3%.
When writing an article I would personally try to make it 1%.
