If you have just found out that you are pregnant, I'm sure there are several questions regarding sex that you would want to ask your doctor, nurse, or pregnancy health care expert.
Our culture would normally view pregnant women as not being sexually active at all, but there are certain things about sex during pregnancy that you'll find rather interesting.
If you are worried about not being able to have sex during pregnancy, don't be.
Most doctors would reassure their pregnant patients that they can have sex during their first trimester.
It is during this time that the body still hasn't undergone actual visible changes, usually caused by the eventual growth of the uterus.
As the second and third trimester come along, that's the time that you will have to change sex positions to those that do not put too much pressure on the belly, will prevent deep penetration, etc.
Another interesting thing about this issue is that some studies have shown that women don't usually feel the desire to engage in sexual intercourse during the later parts of their pregnancy.
There are a lot of factors that lead to this.
Some women would feel difficulty or discomfort when having sex during their later stages of pregnancy because of how large their bodies are.
Some claim that their sexual desires would go down and they wouldn't feel the need or want to have sex.
If you think this might cause some conflict between you and your partner, then it is important that you keep constant communication between you and your partner so as to avoid any misunderstanding between the two of you.
