Size Does Matter in Article Marketing

OK, you have been an article marketer for a few months and you have had a trickle of traffic to your website.
How do we crank it up? Write more articles.
Article marketing is no more than a numbers game.
The guy with the most articles wins.
(Well, 95% of the time they do) Let's back up a touch here.
Of course quality plays a large part of getting the visitor to your site.
I know I would not click on the authors URL if their article sucked.
But through the sheer weight of numbers, having a shipload of articles circulating around the internet will get you traffic.
One very important point here to bear in mind.
Sure we may get visitors from the article directories we submit to but it is when a fellow webmaster sees our article, thinks highly of it, and reproduces it on their website that the viral effect kicks in.
After a few months you should have the knack of churning out quality articles anyway so that shouldn't be the issue.
The issue will be numbers.
Just keep pumping out keyword rich, relevant articles for the world to see.
In an ideal world you would have researched your niche and found upwards of 10 long tail keyword phrases you want to rank for.
Each of these phrases requires a minimum of 30 articles each to have a solid foundation of not only ranking highly now but for months and even years ahead.
Remember, it is a numbers game.
You have to build up to a fairly big portfolio of articles.
Size does count.
