- 1). Confirm that you are an administrator on the account you would like to update. You will need to be an administrator to make changes.
- 2). Go to facebook.com/username and choose the page you wish to rename from the Page Name tab. Click the name of the desired page.
- 3). Read the instructions that appear underneath your profile name. In some cases the account may be ineligible for a user name change, or may already have a name assigned. If the profile is eligible, type in the name of the custom URL you would like to use and click "Check Availability." If the user name has not been taken by anyone else, a screen will appear confirming your choice.
