    Literacy and Science Education

    • Nonprofit, 501(c)3 organizations providing services for adult or children's literary or science education may apply for Endo Pharmaceutical Education Grants. While literacy education eligibility applies to any adults or children in need, the science education funds are limited to low-income, underprivileged students in secondary or post-secondary schools. Low-income children in Camden, N.J., and Philadelphia may receive free admission to the Philadelphia's Please Touch Museum through Endo Pharmaceutical grants.

    West Chester University Foundation Pharmaceutical Product Development Endowed Scholarship

    • Started in 2008, the West Chester University Foundation Pharmaceutical Product Development Endowed Scholarship consists of a $15,000 annual award for a student attending this Pennsylvania school and majoring in biotechnology and planning a career in the pharmaceutical industry. Student receiving the scholarship also qualify for internship programs within the pharmaceutical industry in the summers following the second and third years. According to West Chester University. "Graduates of this program are poised to enter the industry with a breadth of understanding that previously took several years of industry experience to acquire."

    Ineligibility

    • Endo Pharmaceuticals does not fund private educational scholarships or grants to individuals, clinical education or medical grants or any religious organizations. Also ineligible are patient education programs, conferences, special fundraising events or any memorial funding.

    Other Community Grants

    • Besides educational grants, Endo Pharmaceuticals also funds other community service grants. These include the Cradles to Crayons Providing Children in Need with Basic Essentials grant, which provides low-income children in the Philadelphia area with basic needs. It supports the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Family Care Binders Program to parents with seriously ill or special needs children track their child's care and the Community Volunteers in Medicine program to provide medical and dental care to low-income children residing in Chester County, Pa.
