I have had family ties in South Florida since the 1990s and moved to Miami myself in 2001. I am the mother of three boys and love sharing my experiences of our great city with residents and visitors alike.
I have served as the About.com Guide to Miami since 2002, sharing my expertise on Miami culture, events, attractions and politics. My experience in our city as a visitor, resident and mother provides me with a diverse perspective that I strive to share with you on a regular basis.
I earned a BS in Physics from the Johns Hopkins University.
I'll bring you great new feature articles each week as we explore Miami-Dade County together. I'll help you find your way around whether you're a longtime South Floridian, a new resident, considering making Miami your home or just visiting for a couple of days.
