Established in June 1996, the restaurant received the award for Most Romantic Restaurant from the readers of "Seattle Magazine" for its warm color scheme, soft lighting and plush mahogany booths. The restaurant held "Zagat" ratings of very good to excellent for its food, decor and service as of September 2010. The restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine. A signature dish is the Andaluca paella, made with prawns, clams, mussels, chicken, chorizo and aborio rice. A gluten-free menu is available for young diners. Featuring more than 100 selections, the wine list includes numerous Spanish imports as well as reds and whites from Washington and other domestics. Andaluca Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Reservations are highly recommended. Casual attire is acceptable. Diners can enjoy complimentary valet parking at the Mayflower while dining at Andaluca and can leave their vehicles there while attending a performance at the Paramount.

The restaurant held "Zagat" ratings of very good to excellent for its food and service and good to very good for its decor. The dinner menu incorporates elements from a variety of European culinary traditions as reflected in the restaurant's signature dishes, its toasts or bruschetta. Options range from French-inspired croque monsieur with Gruyere cheese, bechamel sauce and smoked pork to Tuscan-style chicken liver mousse to a smoked sardine and feta reminiscent of the Greek islands. The bruschetta selections have previously won an award from "Seattle Metropolitan" for being the best in Seattle. Like the dinner menu, the wine list provides a tour of Europe with 50 selections available. Dinette is open for brunch on Sundays and for dinner Tuesdays through Saturdays. The restaurant closes every Monday. Reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant will not take reservations for large parties on weekends, however, so plan large group outings to the restaurant for a weeknight. Casual attire is the norm. Street parking is nearest the restaurant, but a pay lot is located two and a half blocks from Dinette at Bellevue and East Pine Streets.
