Don"t Give Up Yet - Make This a Very Fine Year

103 16
You made your resolutions, on New Year's Eve and maybe even got so far as writing them down.
Congratulations!! The #1 resolution is to get in shape and lose weight.
(Is that on your list? If it isn't keep reading and you will probably find one of yours.
) As I was about to say, the gym memberships soar during the first week of the new year.
Diet programs like Jenny Craig and NutriSystem have their highest enrollment of weight loss customers after the holidays are over.
By the third week of January the lines waiting for the machines at the gym lessen and soon the parking lot has parking spaces available up by the front door.
The diet food sits idle on the shelf and in the freezer, and by now you can chalk it all up to, "good intentions.
" What is going to make this year any different than last year in reaching the next level of success? It is often said, "Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.
" If you have not put a new mental game plan in motion, you can't expect to achieve anything different.
What about your financial goals? Did you set any at the start of the New Year? How are you doing on them? Is it any different than your intention to "get in shape and lose weight?" I am not meaning to get in your face but let's get serious.
How many of you have been writing out the same set of resolutions each and every year? You may as well write, "DITTO" on the piece of paper.
Each year you have good intentions to change what you are doing.
But you don't.
Do YOU TRULY WANT to do something different this year? You, do? Great! Let's get started before any more time passes by.
Begin by asking yourself this question.
"Do I LOVE MYSELF enough...
?" o Do I love myself enough to deserve looking trim and fit when I put on my clothes? o Do I love myself enough to deserve to stop smoking so I can live a healthy and long life? o Do I love myself enough to deserve financial abundance and no lack.
o Do I love myself enough to deserve to have that special someone fall in love with me and be in my life? Until you love yourself enough you will not be able to love anyone else.
You can only love another to the degree that you do yourself.
You are the only "you" that you have.
It is in your best interest to be the best YOU, you can be.
Only when you "love yourself enough to believe you deserve something different in your life," will you begin to make it happen.
When you "love yourself enough" you will place a value on your life and believe that you deserve only the best in, health, wealth, and happiness.
I want you to be able to say at the close of this year on New Year's Eve, "it was a very fine year.
" I wish you greater success! Copyright 2009
